Whew! Talk about a crazy amount of Eats and Reads

First, to play a bit of catch up we’re going to have a few dragons.
From the art work alone, this book is worth owning. At its core it’s about a loyal and unlikely friendship. I made a celery dragon. How great does that sound? Watch out here comes the celery dragon.
Next dragon, dragon:
Another green dragon, but this one is a bit more feisty. Initaially Sally’s class is raising chicks and she feels sorry for herself because her “chick” isn’t as soft and cuddly as the others. Infact it tries to eat the other chicks. So I decided to make a foe nest out of lettuce, cooked brown rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and rice vinegar.
Miffy in the Snow is a cute little book with Miffy the bunny playing in the snow…you know that thing that sometimes falls from the sky and stays on the ground during the winter. At least in some places. Oh how I miss the snow.
I used Hummus and carrots for the bunny face. Snuggly cute right?
Another classic, “The story of Ping”
I decided to make clam dip and shape it into a duck. The bill is made out of bread.
Like the quiet? How about snuggling up with someone you love? Homer the Library Cat is absolutely the kind of book to read all curled up. It reminds me a little of an art store my mom used to take me to when I was younger. The owner had a cat who roamed around and it made the whole place much more inviting.
For the snack I made a cat out of a clementine and raisins. Marmalade would have been even better. Marmalade for a marmalade cat, eh? eh? Hmm no takers? Here it is all the same.
